Why Project Confidence?
“Evidence shows that women are less self-assured than men—and that to succeed, confidence matters as much as competence..”
- Katy Kay and Claire Shipment in The Atlantic

We at Project Confidence are seeking to bridge this divide. The convictions that gave rise to our movement are several. First, we believe it is every woman’s right to be empowered to realize and expand on her potential. Second, every girl should be enabled to overcome any and all societal norms that impinge on this right – whether that arises from her family, her workplace or more generally the public sphere of which she is an integral part. Finally, we believe humankind cannot be the loser from one-half of us being less than equal contributors to our collective advancement. But to all the women around the world, don't let others make you feel like "you can't", because YOU CAN!
Project Confidence is a cross-cultural network of young women spanning communities around the globe that enable each other to “project” confidence and be impactful leaders.
Our Three-Part Formula

What We Do
We are a network of young women spanning communities around the world seeking to promote confident, articulate and world aware women leaders who are thoughtfully engaged in their communities. Through virtual interactions we have created a venue that fosters friendships and enables globally informed discussions. By doing so we seek to eradicate prejudice, increase awareness and eliminate today’s pervasive xenophobia and narrow-minded nationalism.

Confidence through Awareness
Central to our mission is being a Community of Communities as we facilitate live and permanent connections between communities around the globe. Through this connectedness we give each other the confidence of being part of a global and lifelong network offering mutual support, learning and growth.

Confidence in Articulation
While we are all multilingual and treasure our culturally rich interactions, we see English proficiency as our key enabler for constructive engagement. Our Community Chapter Leaders head local discussion groups that provide a forum for our members to both practice spoken and written English as well as build awareness around local and global developments. Our online panel discussions that feature representatives from each of our communities provide our members a globally elevated forum for public speaking.

Confident Advocacy
We are active in our respective communities and learn from each others’ successes and failures. We are a global voice for communities worldwide as we raise awareness for our respective challenges and source learnings from around the world to promote constructive solutions.
